This goal has been met with over 70% of the new business coming from existing client referrals and the continuing growth of new clients would indicate that the service is successful. |
In September 2008 due to continued success we decided to focus on IR35 contractors and to develop more specialist services pertinent to this market.Strategic business partners were recruited such as Impression Space Ltd and Abbeytax to provide custom built software and the insurance and legal support needed to offer a top quality service to the client.The result is a thoroughly modern and innovative way for the contractor to complete the accounting needs of their business. About Alan OakesAlan Oakes is the sole Director of Pisces Accounts Limited. Holder of the BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance Alan completedthe examinations of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants atDerby University passing the final stage in November 1997. Since then Alan has specialised in the accounts for small business in the North of England, gaining experience over ten years in this field over a variety of accountancy projects. Having worked on a project and ad-hoc basis Alan understands the major concerns that contractors have and this was the reason in 2005 the decision was made to start up a practice with a strong customer focus. During this time Alan has taken control of the accounts function for well over 100 small businesses completing accounts and tax returns, performing company secretarial functions and helping the businesses make decisions to ensure their financial security for the future. Alan is an associate member of the Institute of Financial Accountants and uses the designation Incorporated Financial Accountant. |
